FirstBlood has entered a partnership with DIRECTV to bring DOTA 2 tournaments to Latin America.

December 2, 2020 – FirstBlood and DIRECTV have announced their official partnership. This exciting partnership will allow DIRECTV to leverage FirstBlood’s Automated Tournament Platform to enter the gaming space and reach the competitive DOTA 2 community.

“DIRECTV entered into an alliance with FirstBlood to become known within the DOTA 2 community in Latin America and to continue supporting esports in the region. This is a first step towards the surprises DIRECTV will bring to the entire DOTA 2 community in 2021. Stay tuned,” said Gonzalo Asparria, Trade & Sports Analyst of DIRECTV.

As part of the partnership, FirstBlood will host monthly tournaments for DIRECTV. Players can enter in open weekly qualifiers, with the final games taking place each weekend.
